Framing cabinets. Curly maple, maple plywood and poplar. 2002.
I made these cabinets for Alice's framing room, with the intention that we would paint them- so I didn't worry about matching grain on the rails since they'd be covered by paint. As you can see from the photos, we haven't done this yet.

Spicebox. Curly maple. 2007.
I made this spicebox for my daughter, Emma, in honor of her tenth birthday. It took me a lot longer to make than I'd expected-- I didn't complete it until after her 13th birthday, but I hope she feels the wait was worth it. All dovetails in the cabinet and drawers were handcut, as were the moulding profiles in the bracket feet. The spicebox includes 4 hidden drawers.
